Making push button cuffs like Darby's or Hiatt's

You supply the cuffs and I'll can make the push button style for $650ºº

There is a lot more work then one would imagine. Almost all of it is by hand.I found out the hard way that what is written in Dick Normans book does not disclose all the details.

Push button cuffs need drilled-out and a separate sleeve manufactured, which precisely fits down the tube. The push buttons are a lot of blacksmitherty

These are a labor of love. It might take 3000 strokes of a very fine file,,, testing the parts every two strokes to see how they fit. Tricking Cobbs are like doing Jewry work.

The cuffs are applied and you push them in, all the way... then twist them apart. I've had a lot of luck with them too. The book says you can't make the leg irons work like the wrist irons... but he was wrong ... I can. and I have. The work costs 500º
